Carhartt WIP, the European branch of Carhartt, is marketed as a brand comparable to Stussy, Resto or Volcom. The Carhartt website should represent the modern street wear culture these brands hold however still remain true to the Carhartt heritage and brand.
HOMEPAGE
When you first log into the Carhartt WIP website the first page is very minimal and features a large brand image as a back ground, a navigation bar with six options (news, shop, lookbook, stores, skate and music), a search bar in the top right hand corner and the brand logo in the top left corner of the page. The first page is predominately monochrome which fits in with the brand's colour pallet which can be found in the Carhartt guideline PDF.

The news section on the Carhartt WIP website is home to all of the events, music and happenings surrounding the brand. This section acts as a blog for the Carhartt customers who wish to know what's happening behind the scenes of the brand and what is yet to come. The news section includes features such as seasonal collection launch dates, future radio tours and shows around Europe and exclusive previews for eager fans. It also includes all of the documentaries, videos and visuals produced by the Carhartt visual arts team and explains in debt the concept behind each story they create. for being a reliable supplier of admired textiles but also for its dedicated
support of artists, musicians, and riders. Since its very beginning, Work in
Progress has closely involved Carhartt with the European skateboarding and BMX
scene, aiding in showcasing the scene’s cultural diversity and creativity. To
this day Carhartt WIP is still a strong supporter to the creative scene and the
culture surrounding it which is why they have a dedicated page on their website
which features news surrounding the skateboarding scene.
MUSIC PAGE
The music section on the Carhartt WIP website is home to the thousands of radio shows produced by Carhartt whereby they feature their favourite artists from around Europe. These radio shows are played in all the Carhartt WIP stores around the world and are a strong feature to the Carhartt Work In Progress brand. This section allows consumers to flick through an archive of Carhartt radio shows and listen to the brands favourite artists.
